The Wiz Integration allows you to import Signify (formerly Philips) WiZ devices, including light bulbs and lightstrips, into Hubitat Elevation. The devices must first be set up in the WiZ mobile app. They can then be added to Hubitat Elevation.
Navigate to Apps > Wiz Integration (if not listed, install first using the instructions above). If prompted, select Enable Wiz Integration. (This will only appear the first time or if manually disabled.)
To add a new WiZ device, select Start device discovery, and follow the prompts to add any discovered devices.
To view WiZ devices that have already been added to your system, look under the Installed devices heading. Alternatively, you may navigate to Devices (on the left) to see all your Hubitat Elevation devices and find your WiZ devices in this list.
TIP: The “Device Name” for WiZ devices will be set to the WiZ device name plus the IP address of the device by default. The intergration may periodically change/overwrite this name. Use the “Device Label” field to set your own name for these devices (as it will display in apps, logs, and in use with voice assistants and other integrations you may use on your hub).
Unable to turn a device on/off, set color, etc.? Rarely, when adding a new WiZ device to your hub, the driver ("Type" on the device detail page) may be set to "Wiz Device Stub." This happens when the integration is unable to determine the capabilities of your device and assign the most appropriate driver. To fix, select the appropriate driver yourself from the Wiz drivers in the "Type" (driver) list — for example, "Wiz RGBW Light" for a white and color bulb or lightstrip. We also suggest posting your device information in the Hubitat Community forum so we can better match your device in the future.
